CREW Kansas City is managed by a Board of Directors that works together to set and accomplish the Chapter’s strategic goals—helping to advance the success of women in commercial real estate. Serving on the CREW Kansas City Board of Directors is a unique opportunity for leadership and networking among other ambitious men and women working in the commercial real estate field.

President - Christina Fenwick

Christina Fenwick is VP, Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager at UMB Bank. She has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. In her role as a relationship manager, Christina is focused on Community Development and is intentional about forming relationships with commercial real estate developers that thoughtfully revitalize and stabilize underinvested communities in Kansas City.
 
Christina is passionate about being an active participant in the community, both professionally and personally through volunteerism and leadership development. She has previously served as Co-Director of Programs & Community Connections and Director of DE&I on the CREW Kansas City Board, as well as involvement on the Mentorship and Communications committees. She is a past Board Member of the Kansas City CCIM Chapter and earned her CCIM designation in 2015. At the CREW Network level, Christina is currently serving on the Nominating Committee in 2023. Christina is a consistent volunteer with local non-profits, Habitat for Humanity and Chain of Hope. She has previously served as a committee member for Newhouse Domestic Violence Shelter and as Co-Chair of Fox4 Love Fund for Children’s largest fundraising event, It’s in the Bag. Currently, Christina is on the Project Development Committee for Community Housing of Wyandotte County and participates in the Central Exchange Emerging Leaders Program.

President-Elect - Amy Ehlers

Amy Ehlers started at Block & Company, Inc., Realtors in 2002 as an Executive Assistant to David M. Block. In 2016, Amy was promoted to Senior Vice President - Finance/Development. As such, she works with various banks and other commercial lenders, coordinating commercial loans of all sizes and types for investment and development properties managed by Block & Company. Amy works closely with Block's Construction & Development department to produce budgets and other cost analysis tools, along with coordinating the financing for the projects.

Amy's role as Senior Vice President - Finance/Development also encompasses assisting in the establishment of a variety of public incentives such as Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Community Improvement Districts (CID), Transportation Development Districts (TDD), etc. This involves working directly with the owners, attorneys and Municipalities throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area, through the approval process and beyond. Amy serves on the board of numerous Missouri CID’s within the Kansas City Metro.

In addition, Amy also manages Block & Company's brokerage support team and works closely with Block's supervising brokers to ensure that company forms and procedures are in accordance with changing real estate commission guidelines.

Amy is currently serving in her 4th year on the CREW Kansas City Board of Directors, currently serving as President-Elect, after serving for 3 years on the golf committee as Chair/Co-Chair. CREW Kansas City is the leading organization for senior-level executive women in the Kansas City commercial real estate field. It promotes the highest standards of ethics and integrity and seeks to positively influence the direction of Kansas City's commercial real estate industry and community.

In 2023, Amy was selected to the CREW Network Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee. This committee is responsible for selecting the female commercial real estate student scholars to be recommended for the $5,000 -$10,000 annual scholarships the charitable arm of CREW Network awards each year. Through 2023, CREW Network Foundation has given 226 scholarships totaling $1,297,500 USD.
