On behalf of the board of directors and the dedicated committee chairs, I would like to thank all our members and sponsors of CREW KC for your continued support during a year that has been so uncertain.
The board of directors and the committees within CREW KC have worked hard to keep our members connected. We reached out to our members throughout the year and quickly made changes by switching over to virtual programming and events. We hosted many virtual coffees, book clubs, happy hours and our luncheons. We also held our annual golf tournament that sold out and was a huge success.
CREW Network provided leadership, tools and resources to all chapters and truly had our backs as we navigated through this year. Leadership Summits were offered virtually with an increase in attendance from 330 to 2,200 registered attendees. There were many opportunities to participate in Network virtual events.
I have always been a believer of the power of CREW and this year, we have seen what grace under fire really looks like. In these times it is important to acknowledge that business relationships are still being created and deals are still getting done.
I would like to give a special thank you to the board and committee members for the tremendous work, effort, time and resilience that everyone has put in over the past year. I am truly humbled to have served with you this year.
As we enter the last month of 2020, I am excited about the programs and networking opportunities that 2021 will bring. We hope to see you at upcoming events. Stay safe and stay connected.
