Do you want to network, enjoy appetizers and wine, design a beautiful piece for your home AND support a great cause? Then this is the event for you!
Colleen Monroe, owner of Floraloom Studio, will guide us through creating your own unique wreath for your home or office. Colleen will share her experience opening a business in Kansas City and how she partnered with Newhouse Domestic Violence Shelter to provide employment to women utilizing Newhouse’s services.
We will also hear from the owners of HITIDES Coffee about opening a business in the East Crossroads and their thriving neighborhood.
Along with the supplies for the wreath class there will be wine, appetizers and a hand-etched KC wine glass for all attendees to take home.
The fruit for each wreath is provided by Lifted Spirits (distillery across the street from the studio & Hitides). They use the same ingredients in their cocktails! Locally crafted wine glasses designed and laser-etched by husband and wife duo, Johnny and Michele Dawbarn, owners of Sew KC, Collective EX and now the new HITIDES Coffee in the East Crossroads. Each wine glass is uniquely made with Kansas City pride!
